Questions

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?

No. Six data points suffice: gender, birthdate, health rating, tobacco history, amount, and duration. Carriers will quote you with just those. Names, addresses, and detailed medical records are only requested if you move to application.

Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?

These prices reflect what each carrier quotes for your health category. Once you apply, underwriting sets your actual rate, which might confirm your category, improve it, or change it. These are estimates, not final prices.

What happens when I click Apply?

Your quote turns into an application on the carriers' encrypted platform, pre-populated. Pause and return anytime you want, and use your keyboard to sign. Susman Insurance Agency, licensed in California (License 0B75129), processes it.

Will I need a medical exam?

Varies by carrier, your requested sum, and your replies. Certain carriers running instant-approval systems can underwrite without exams if you're eligible; each quote notes whether exams are mandatory, optional, or unneeded.

Is a longer term better?

Opt for a term protecting the window when your income would affect your family's security: with a loan balance, dependent kids, or business commitments. Higher monthly cost with longer terms stays the same for the full period. Test all lengths—10, 15, 20, 25, and 30 years.

Does this site sell my information?

No. The quoting form doesn't gather names or contact information. We don't buy, sell, or give away visitor information. Our site metrics are cookieless and respect do-not-track requests. Review the privacy page to see exactly what's gathered and who receives it.
